My wife bought a car here and had nothing but problems with it. Most of the stuff was definitely detectable by the dealer. The dealer offered no help post purchase with the problems. Serves us right for trusting this guy and serves us right for not having an independent mechanic look it over before purchase.
I bought a beetle from windward cars a year ago. I was excited for this car but I started having problems with it as soon as I bought it. At first my husband and I noticed that there was something wrong with the glove compartment. Couldn't really tell what it was tho. Not longer after still within a month of purchase the battery failed. We called the dealer and he offered no help. Merely suggested to go to "battery bill". We called battery bill and they know of no relation with Windward Cars. Then after that the complete interior around the glove box feel off. It was taped on! The glove box went with it. Within six months of buying the car I had to replace the shocks, the control arms, the water spray, the fuel pump, the head light, and now I have to replace the starter. I know used cars need maintenance but I have spent thousands on this car, most of it in the first six months of ownership. Very disappointed with this dealership. My husband bought his truck from ace auto and they were much more helpful with him and even gave him a guarantee and a loaner car when needed. I definitely do not recommend Windward for a car.
