This was enough for her to cancel a prescription she was going to issue, and instead, made me wait for over an hour for a mere recommendation to a specialist for which I had already provided all the information needed. Retaliation for objecting to her conduct.
I've been seeing Dr. Kimberly Lund for one year now as my primary care physician, and I also bring my two children (ages 4 and 2) to see her. I have always been able to have my children seen quickly at this practice if need be. When my daughter fractured her wrist and was seen at Castle, Dr. Lund's office must have received word somehow and they contacted me independently to make sure that my daughter was getting the follow on care that she needed. The office has a warm atmosphere. I have never been rushed through an appointment. Dr. Lund and her staff always thoroughly address all of my concerns. I was feeling really drained after having my second child and Dr. Lund was very thorough in her workup and continues to check in to see how things are going with me personally when I'm in her office for a visit for my children. My four-year-old daughter is very chatty and Dr. Lund listens intently to whatever she wants to tell her and responds thoughtfully, instead of just talking to me, the adult, as if my daughter is not there like so many other doctors (and adults, right?) might do. The check-in and check-out process takes a little longer than I'd like, but I am overall very satisfied with the quality of care we have received at this practice. I am expecting my third child in November and she will also be seen by Dr. Lund.
This is a highly controversial and corrupt practise. Medical diagnosis, treatments and care are not based on medical science. Regretfully Dr. Lund's choices are governed by political beliefs and fears. Sort of like a surgeon who objects to seeing blood.
Furthermore, Dr. Lund is a very prejudicial and judgemental individual. I was openly mocked and discriminated against when I admitted to a treatment she apparently does not agree with; a completely legal herbal remedy.
