I purchased a mouse trap at this location unfortunately the trap did not work I attempted to bring the trap back about a week later but the cashier would not take my return stating that there was nothing wrong with the trap even though I explained to her that the doors did not trip when the mouse went into the trap. They do not stand behind their products and were very unhelpful. Would rate a 0 if I could.

On the average I go there 3-5 times per week to pick up materials for a variety of different odd jobs in and around my house. They are pretty well stocked for a hardware store their size, and depending on customer traffic, have always been able to help me with finding things, making suggestions, etc. There is the occasional trip to the other side of the island to Home Depot or Lowe's to find that specific item I need, but if it is not in stock by Ace Hardware then their staff does not hesitate to refer me to a competitor to find the item I need. That does not happen at other hardware stores too often. I would rate their customer service "Top Notch", and highly recommend Ace Hardware in Kailua to anyone.
