I am absolutely LIVID with this place right now. My friend went in today to get a dress that she absolutely loved hemmed because it was slightly too long. Well, the staff there made remarks to my friend about how her dress looked awful because it was too tight and made multiple remarks about her being too big and needing to lose weight, then proceeded to LAUGH at her. My friend left in tears and returned the dress, with her self esteem probably ruined. I am absolutely disgusted.
Al philips the cleaner Kailua 96734 customer beware! Service is garbage, the reason is the lady that runs the front she’s completely incompetent to do her job, bad attitude, disregards any and all customers. Having seen the inside customers coats piled up like a dirty hamper “military blues of all things” unhung pushed aside in the corner why is that? Disregards appreciation to the military, The people here don’t really care about your garments I’m assuming, seen it 3 days before I dropped off my coat.
If your looking for just a press then this place is OK. But if you want any stain removed go somewhere else. Way overpriced to not even get the stain removed. Also, the customer service is terrible. I got ignored for 5 minutes while the lady took a personal phone call. It's worth the time and effort to go somewhere else

The main two women who work the front are unfriendly and rude. They have signs that say same day service all around the property, however I can not get my cleaning done within 3 days. I dropped off at 0624 am, went back the NEXT DAY at 1355 (1:55) and the lady did not even offer to check to see if my order was ready, just handed me the ticket and said, "Not till after five" and walked away. I have been using the Hawaii Kai location for 13 years with great service this location for 2 years, and not one time did I walk out happy with this locations service.
My experience safe to say terrible, does not address customers needs, doesn’t give you prices, doesn’t greet you, gives you a bi**h look after she realizes your waiting for service. Upon giving my suit to her she tells me with the most ridiculous tone “I don’t take you hanger I don’t need that” then gives me the receipt ticket and tells me “Friday” pick up which is 3 days out, what’s with same day service in by 11 out by 5 BS! all over the window as advertisement complete rubbish. The days Friday I go to pick up my suit at 12:15 P.M, enter the cleaners and there it is again resting bi*** face, hand her my ticket and tells me “no pick up after 5 P.M!” She didn’t even go to check if it was cleaned already and was ready to go, but just turned away and continued on wondering off. Absolutely retarded, she did not specify a time on Friday, drove to Kailua for nothing. I will never give Kailua al philips my business again!
