Best movie theater on island. Home town feel with top of the line equipment. Don't skip this one.
The best theater! The chairs are so comfortable. We tried going to another theater because this one was booked for Kong: Skull Island. We paid the regular price and it was not comfortable at all. We got spoiled by your comfortable recliners and if were paying over 10 bucks to see a movie, we'd like it to be comfortable. In addition, the snack bar is so close to the theater doors and so is the restrooms. So we didn't miss much during our bathroom and snacks runs. This is the only theater we support! Good job!
We love going to Kailua cinema and watching the latest movies. Enjoy those new executive style reclining wide and comfortable chairs too! The staff are always friendly, restrooms are clean, Family friendly, excellent sound system.
Took my sons to Kailua Cinema for the first time. Was super clean, nice and friendly!! Easy prepaid tickets. Took 5 minutes or less to get through the concession stand line and into or leather reclining seats. Overall great experience and really quality audio/visual theater. Only gripe was the size of the theatre/screen. But I can get over that because of the convenient location and reasonable price.
We showed up to a movie that was full except for the two seats that are reserved for guests with wheelchairs. We purchased the tickets knowing we would have to move if a person in a wheelchair showed up before the movie started. 17 minutes into the movie we we're asked to leave so a fat lady who was not in a wheelchair could have our seats. The movie had already started! Fat is a choice not a disability! I will not be back.
