I had a very poor peel that did absolutely nothing at all. I wrote Dr. Kenner, my doc there and she said come back in and we will do another for free. Well, a year later I did just that. Even though she is no longer there at this time (she got pretty bad reviews) they honored the agreement and did a 30% TCA peel free-- I have a decent peel after all. RARE for a medical office to honor an agreement for a doc not there any longer. Nice staff too. The 'buts' ae that they dripped the peel down my neck which fried 2 lines down it and my face only peeled well in one place--the rest was uneven and both cheeks SCABBED--which is a too deep thing. I no longer trust them to do it right. They also messed up a Rx giving only half the recommended dose. I will not be returning unfortunately. They also never called to see how the peel was going afterwards--as EVERY doc/office I've ever had one in the past did. There can be swelling and pain with these 30% TCA peels and no one EVER bothered to check on me. Sorry, Kailua Derm--you are batting zero now. Never again. 3 stars for honoring the old agreement BUT the techs/P.A's need a lot more training to do it right--and safely.

Professional, competent and courteous staff. The patient waiting area is comfortable and inviting. I am happy with the results of my laser hair removal sessions. I also appreciate the staff answering ancillary questions and curiosities I have about my current treatments and other treatments I may consider in the future.
Dr. Williams himself promised to take a look at me due to the below review--and I stated "I'll think about it...". It took me a while to get up the NERVE to try again as it was Christmas holiday time! He PROMISED to try and help the poor result--and finally getting an appointment for TODAY--I was called and told SORRY, we cannot do anything for you since you waited 4 months and THEY CANCELLED MY APPOINTENT. (They called me after 11 am as I was literally walking out the door for an 11:45 appointment that I had arranged; I am 100% disabled and cannot drive in high traffic areas-Iraq vet) After a peel, the face needs time to HEAL. I did not have the hyperpigmentation (dark skin on the cheeks) until it healed! I called them to NO REPLY until yesterday--which the woman on the phone recalled my earlier call and apologized for "not getting back to me" -which was denied today--so technically? I WAS CALLED A LIAR TODAY. They offered me some bleaching creme? WHAT?
***I am truly HOPING this was office STAFF and NOT the physician directing staff to cancel what he personally promised to do for me because I waited 3.5 months (see 11/3/16 update). I HOPE SO.
UPDATE 2017: I have left THREE messages that I'll try again and no one has EVER called me back. I HAVE HYPERPIGMENTED CHEEKS (skin darkening) Also around the lateral part of the skin around the eyes now from the poor peel healing with bad results. They finally answered a 4th call and I have an appt. finally so stay tuned.
I've been a patient at Kailua Dermatology for the past year and and half. I am completely satisfied with the entire staff and especially Tami, Doug and Christina. They have always taken the time to answer all my questions and I am tolally happy with their professional service and results.
Update July 2017: I wrote the Head MD of this practice after finding out "Dr. Williams" was not an MD but P.A. and not the Boss. I HAVE NEVER HEARD BACK. I waited months--no reply. Stay away from this place.

A FREE PEEL AFTER ONE THAT DID NOT WORK ( a nice gesture)THAT MESSED UP MY FACE, THEN A PROMISE BROKEN (to take a look and try and help), AND WHAT WAS STATED NOW DENIED!?
11/3/2016 update: I was called personally by the owner of this franchise Dr. Williams and he stated if I take my review down they will take care of me no charge. He apologized for the bad treatment etc.
I have been going to Kailua Derm for years now it used to be called another name but their medical practice and esthetic departments work hand in hand. My children see P.A. Doug Williams as well and I just love Tammy for her expertise in cosmetic procedures that keep me looking young without any down time.
I've been going here for years and have always been very satisfied. Everyone has been courteous and helpful and the medical services I've received have been top notch.
That stated? I'd STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE until the physician in charge IS.
