Staff is friendly and they answer any questions... Or they'll find out the answer! Prices are decent. Today was crowded and hard to maneuver the lanes: 1) A LOT of tourists today; 2) a lot of extra merchandising in the lanes; and 3) a lot of stocking going on!
Aside of organic produce and healthy products, I found that I very fond of whole food's salad bar and self serving food. Their hot and cold options always healthy (of course) and interesting. Their England clam chowder soup is phenomenal too. I always get the biggest size to share with my husband. It's really freaking dang good!
One star is mainly for ambiance. The feel of this Whole Foods is very pleasant. It's big and they have a lot of healthy options. This is the only store besides Down to Earth where you can buy many different organic foods and natural items. However, Whole Foods has more sale items because it's more commercial than Down to Earth. I still like to shop at Down to Earth because they were in Hawai'i for many years. The biggest downside of Whole Foods for me is I don't like how open the eating area is. It would be better if there was some type of partition to divide it from the store. I don't like being "people watched" when I'm shopping so I avoid all the products close to that area.
This place is very Impressive! I found that they had such s wide variety of quality products that I had never seen at any other store. I would definitely recommend this store to any one who is looking for anything from good foods, already made, and grocery shopping. Also for gifts to plants and coffee, to pastries, and great customer service. A store that has more than just Whole Foods!Thank You
It's a nice Wholefoods with some good deals, a good layout, some good prepared foods. There are a lot of expensive foods available for purchase here. They also drive in the tourist crowd to by hippie cotton bags that say "Kailua". I like most of what they offer, but I do have a hard time getting help from associates when I need it.
