One of the most friendly reception and pharmacy staff I've experienced at a doctors office. Helped me out last minute and when I was out of state.
I went to the VA and got better treatment.
FP doc had not a CLUE. I never told her I was a doc and my symptoms? Short of breath, rib pain, right quadrant pain. I have a cancer history and she immediately thought I had cancer! She asked me if I was STILL taking chemo? (It's been 15 years, doc). She ordered tons of blood and a CT of my Abdomen and pelvis--hey doc, my symptoms? SHORT of breath--like...LUNG. I asked the tech to go UP into my lung accidentally on purpose and that showed both lungs collapsed at the bases (bibasilar atelectasis)...She told me it was NORMAL, and since "ALL MY TESTS WERE NEGATIVE SHE COULD DO NO MORE FOR ME" at followup. GOD!! It cost hundreds of dollars all paid by my great insurance... but OMG...go elsewhere!!!!! This doc could not read a basic chest Xray--which she stated was also normal. A medical student could pick up collapsed bases of the lung. White streaky things visable easily. Don't take a chance here or see another doc. This one was AWFUL. She also did the WORST belly exam i have EVER had--barely touching me. If your doc doesn't listen to your heart carefully (talking and not listening) and palpate your belly thoroughly--go elsewhere!
