Staff are perfect!! This is NOT your 'barracks'. Common areas as 'hyatt like'. Fantastic suites (equivalent to Holiday Inn Express, I'd say). Bathrooms are small... they didn't change it architecturally that way, but very clean and functional. Grill area has a fountain and you'd never guess you were on base. Well done, MCB, well done.
The place is nice and the staff is friendly. But there is no AC so it can get pretty warm, especially trying to sleep at night if there is no breeze.
Absher Construction is doing an awesome job with the renovation work! Very clean and professional looking jobsite.
The building 7024 is a barracks. The washers are disgusting and never get cleaned. The maids do a great job cleaning but the building has never gotten any actual remodeling. You’re staying in an old barracks except for now you’re paying for it.
Accommodation at MCB Hawaii with a spectacular view of the bay. Rooms a on the cozy side but who spent time in their room when you visit Hawaii anyway. You go out and look at the view. You go across the street and eat at the Officer Club - with a view. You go down and play golf on base. You go and visit the beaches.
