The next day the realtor, Scott, was unapologetically 30 minutes late to the showing then proceeded to quickly push me along the tour in a huff, scoffing at my questions.

They don't work on weekends and consider it too inconvenient to travel to their managed properties. Quote from an employee: "You want us to drive to Mililani at 3 pm?" I was under the impression that as a PROPERTY MANAGEMENT company that wouldn't be an issue. Isn't that part of the job?
Terrible service. I set up an appointment to view a property only to have it cancelled by the realtor 2 hours before I was supposed to see the property. I rescheduled the appointment only to be told by the inadequate secretary that I would have to wait a week. When I asked to speak to the realtor the appointment changed to the next day...
I have rented from Stott for almost 2 years. They are responsive and professional. I am a real estate broker in commercial real estate and have the experience to accurately rate their service.
First off, the customer service is terrible. Anything that may entail work they will do their best to avoid. Poor work ethic from the business owner down. They don't try to solve problems, instead they will assign blame to someone else. Multiple complaints from neighbors, tenants etc.
As a small business owner, I know what good customer service entails. They seem to have no idea. Whether renter or owner I STRONGLY recommend looking a elsewhere!
How to start this - I'd give them zero starts if I could. I was supposed to view my families property while visiting Hawaii. There was an obvious error as they thought we were coming the day before. Instead of trying to solve the problem they tried to assign blame. James was super unprofessional on the phone. Once we got ahold of Mindy she was more accommodating and we were able to find a time to visit OUR HOUSE (because coming out past 3 to mililani is unbelievable and they don't work fridays ) . An hour later the president of the company was calling my fiancé demanding an apology. An apology for trying to find a time we could come see the family home? Idk, in California we don't conduct business in this way. For the president to act this way - is clear why their employees are so incompetent. Find another company to manage your property people - these folks are not the ones.
We have been renting from Stott Property since mid March of 2013. Everyone we have interacted with has been professional and friendly. They were very accomodating with our move-in and quickly responded when our washer was having issues. I have always had my phone calls answered or returned promptly.
