I would not recommend this place.
I really don't understand the negative reviews. Seriously. I stayed in the small unit and for the cost and convenience, this was the perfect place. Small yes but it is advertised as such and for $85 with A/C, a steal. It is extremely clean with a close, responsive & friendly 'owner' plus in wonderful Kailua Town = this is an excellent place to stay.
For one the kitchen was far too small. There is almost no counter space and no good place to sit down and eat. How you can say on your website that it has a full kitchen is beyond me. It didn't even have a dishwasher.
KAILUA town is an escape, NOT another WAIKIKI
The bedrooms were the worst part though. They were far too small and the layout was inconvenient.

The location was definitely not the greatest either. Although the beach was in walking distance there was nothing else, no shops, entertainment venues, etc. You will need to drive pretty much everywhere.
