It's a nice short walk and if you are staying or living in the area certainly a good place to visit. I took the bus from Honolulu and spent more time on transit than being there. It's not meant to be a tourist attraction but rather a project to protect nature and wildlife, pls keep that in mind if you go. You'll see many birds, diverse nature and have a view of the mountains.
Great hangout spot with family and friends. Recreational activities at the Park are great for the family, and people are open and outgoing.
Completely flat, easy 2,5 km walk on a gravel trail along a 1m high wall. (You can enter and exit the trail on both ends, one side connects to the highway but is open.)
Nice open field to practice throwing or kicking a ball..... No bathrooms
