Must try the garlic chicken. Good portions so if you are not starving try get the mini. Sometimes the wait is long if it is lunch time but worth it or just call ahead.
This place has become terrible. I loved eating here when I was a child. 15 years later, now that this place is a tourist hot spot, the food quality has hit rock bottom. They're known for their garlic chicken, which is delicious if it's fresh.. But it's never fresh! They make a huge batch of it and let it sit all day. By time you get it, it's hard, dry and a little cold. If you ask them to make it fresh, they seem to get upset. The curry is watery. They can't even get the rice right! Last time I went here, the rice was so hard, it's like it wasn't even cooked. Like they just scooped it from the bag to my plate. It's too bad it's like this now.
Nonetheless, good food.
If you ever tire of L&L come here, they're just as good.
I can always expect good food from the kitchen. However, the people that are in the front putting together your plate lunch always seem so depressed or blunt. It kind of makes the atmosphere feel like a jail serving some food.
The person that took our order was business only...not friendly and personable. But the variety of food on the menu was stellar and the grub we ordered was mostly great. We weren't fans of the Shrimp and Mac Salad, but the Teri Beef was good and the rice was moist.
