The butter chicken was sweet and had the consistency of water. The"samosa" was Deep parathas wrapped around some sweet potato type of thing and fried. It was slightly sweet and mostly bland. The "roti" and parathas are just Deep heat and heat stuff and they manage to make it soggy. Not sure how that was accomplished. The in house garlic naan was burnt. The chicken curry wrap had no curry--literally boiled whole chicken thighs--until we asked some be added--and that seemed to confuse her. The masala was like canned garbanzo beans had been tossed with water and turned brown. the spicy eggplant was eggplant in water with pepper flakes galore. Nothing was salted.
The service was not particularly great either. they messed up our order, and forgot we had ordered an item which they did get down.
This was the single most disappointing food experience I've ever had. Its not that the food had a different flair to it, in the way that American Chinese food is different from Chinese food in China but good in it's own way. This stuff was inedibly horrible. I prefer the worst heat and eat grocery chain Indian food to whatever was served here. At least those have salt.
This is a great cozy place to get delicious flavorful food. I had the chicken curry plate with the yellow jasmine rice and coconut vegetable medley- yummy! We also had the cheesy naan bread, garlic naan bread and samosas. The staff at this restaurant were so accommodating, helpful and friendly. Sitting happens out in front of the establishment.
This food made me sad. The perfect storm of bland, overcooked vegetables and raw doughy naan. So bad we fed it to the nearby trashcan and went somewhere else for dinner. The server seemed a little annoyed that he had to give us food for money. Sorry, I am trying to be as positive as I can about our experience but if there was a zero star option, that's what I would rate it.
Good customer service. They were accommodating. Food is rich and hearty.
Horrible vegetarian food to say the least. Mix veg had just potatoes in it and some vegetables thrown in. The salad they served was just lettuce. Chana masala was taste less. I Normally don't write reviews but the food made me do it today.
But, food was not Indian food.
The one star goes to the amazing mango "lassi" and watermelon juice. Those were amazing.
