Wonderful local and tourist-friendly. Excellent calamari and good poke' appetizer; excellent pork-poke' dinner plate. Service was wonderfully friendly. Maybe a singular experience, but our server grew up 5 miles from where we now live (in PA) #smallworld
We randomly found this quaint yet superb restaurant on a drive to the North Shore..
We have been vacationing in Kailua with my family for several years but don't eat out much so this is the first time we've tried this restaurant. We had such a great lunch here! The Kalua Pork French Fries are so delicious that after they came we declared that we should have just gotten five orders of those and skipped the entrees! The other appetizer we got was the sauteed mushrooms and it was great as well. Most of their menu items are sourced locally and the beef is from the Big Island. I got the beef and tomato stir fry which was full of perfectly cooked beef and vegetables in a very flavourful sauce. At $13 it was a great deal! My husband's steak was beautifully cooked as well and so tender that he hardly needed his knife. My brothers got the garlic chicken and sweet chili chicken and they all enjoyed their meals. Our server Randy was kind and helpful. This restaurant is a gem: locally sourced, delicious food at great prices!
Hadn’t eaten here since it was Lucy’s. Was I impressed with the menu selection, the flavors combination, the ambiance on this lovely Sat. afternoon. Loved the Pesto fish, I give it a 10 for flavor and portion size! I split it but had I been really Hungary, I would have polished it off. I had a taste of the Curry Red fish dish, which was extremely flavorful. We will be back, sorry, no photo, we ate it all
I ordered the F. Tofu with salad and an Iced Thai Tea with condensed milk! Which was nice to sip at the end of lunch, on the patio- while the rain swept past.
Cully is a sexy handsome man who bartends at night and you'll meet Sparkle during day time. Both are amazing and fantastic! Please ask for one of them! I adore them both! I'm here to visit but I'll back again to see them again! You need to be here to enjoy their fresh food as well.
The Poke was amazing fresh with artistic genius flavor. The menu is a combination of so many cultures that I feel like I'm at home. This sweet little restaurant is highly underestimated. The menu variety is from fresh & light with flavor to comfort food- no matter what your comfort food I would guess you find something to soothe your soul or empty stomach.
